well i'm not going to argue with you on the insurance gamble. mine runs me about 80 bucks a year now (i've got minimum liability according to state of ky - covers damage to others). i'm sure each state has its own rates, minimum legal coverage, etc. you might look into the joe rocket mesh jackets if you feel naked without cover on the bike - i know some folks really swear by them. it gets above 80 degrees then i start shedding the leather. t..
